Paul is a civil servant at US Northern Command at Peterson AFB, and spent 25 years on active duty in the Air Force. He has lived in Colorado Springs for nine years and has a son, Christian, in Division III.

PAACL Secretary: Becca Hawkins <PAACL-Secretary@AcademyACL.org>
Becca Hawkins is the busy mom of Raymond, in Division V, and Nicole, who is a junior at Colordo Springs Early Colleges. They have lived in Colorado Springs since November 2008 and moved here from Fairbanks, Alaska, where she had lived for 15 years. Becca has an extensive sales background, has started several small businesses, and is currently a licensed Personal Property Insurance Agent proudly serving those in our military community with USAA's Property and Casualty Company.

PAACL Schedule


School year 2011-2012

PAACL membership meetings are the first Thursday of the month. The plan is to hold more daytime meetings, roughly every other month, and to move to a format with a student performance and pizza with the meeting opening at 6:00 PM rather than 7:00 PM.

1 September — 6:30 – 8:00 PM
6 October — Pizza and Presentation: CSPD Internet Safety Presentation
4 November — Pizza and Performance: Character Matters
29 November — Kidpower (two nights, first session)
1 December — Daytime meeting, 8:15 AM
6 December — Kid Power (second night)
9 December — Winter Festival
6 January (Friday) — Potluck
2 February — Daytime meeting: Present slate of candidates
1 March — Evening meeting, Potluck or Pizza and Elections
5 April — Daytime meeting (Drop-off or pick-up)
3 May — Pizza and Performance (?) May be absorbed by Spring Festival. Spring Festival and Field Day preparation
